April 2018
Mosque Opens Its Doors - April 2018
The Chester Mosque & Islamic Centre officially opened in April 2018, providing a dedicated space for worship, learning, and community engagement. This milestone marked the beginning of our journey to serve the spiritual and social needs of Muslims in Chester and the surrounding areas.
May 2022
Women's Group Eid Celebration - May 2022
In May 2022, the mosque’s Women’s Group hosted its inaugural Eid celebration, bringing together over 200 women and children from across Cheshire and Flintshire. This event fostered community spirit and inclusivity, featuring activities like bouncy castles, games, and shared meals, and raised funds for the mosque’s upkeep.

Eid Prayer at Chester FC - March 2025
In March 2025, the mosque organized a special Eid prayer at Chester Football Club’s Deva Stadium. This collaborative event brought together hundreds of worshippers in a spacious outdoor setting, exemplifying our commitment to fostering unity and strengthening bonds within the community.
